• de-thatching

• re-edging and weeding shrub beds

Fall Clean Up

Autumn is a critical time for lawn and plant care. Let us prepare your grounds and gardens for the cold winter months so that you don’t have to worry about what the spring will bring. Fall clean up includes:

• cleaning lawn and shrub beds of all leaves, sticks and other debris mowing
• removal and/or mulching of debris
• removal of dried annuals and cutting back perennials

Lawn Maintenance

Fertilization & Lime Application

Lawns and gardens require regular feeding. We offer spring, early and late summer, and fall programs to add pre-emergent weed control, balanced, complete fertilizers, broadleaf weed control, grub control and applications of lime as needed for proper acid/alkalinity balance.

Top Dressing

Grass needs a steady diet of nutrients to grow lush and lustrous. Spreading a thin layer of top soil over the lawn helps to increase the organic matter in the soil and to improve the resistance to extremes in temperature.

Over Seeding

Its true: over seeding is an overlooked activity in American home lawn care. Many homeowners assume, incorrectly, that fertilizer is all that is needed to keep a turf thick and free of weeds. Grass gets tired. It needs to be revitalized every few years. If you have not over seeded your lawn in the last four years, we suggest you do so to help it become as dense as brand new sod.

Maintaining Shrub Beds and Perennial Beds

Mulching

All beds edged and weeded in the spring. Four types of bark mulch are available:

• Softwood Bark
• Dark Mixed Bark
• Light Mixed Bark
• Colored Bark (Red)

Weeding

Weeding of beds can be done on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule. This includes deadheading flowers. Prices will vary depending on the size of the area.

Trimming and Pruning

Shrubs, ornamental and fruit trees, hedge trimming, and dead heading annuals and perennials. We also can take care of removal of shrubs and small trees.
